With a very youthful outlook on life. She loves coming to the workshop; this space has given her the feeling of a second home, and women around her cherish her affectionately. She feels this is where she can maintain her sense of purpose and fulfillment. She is a true testament to the fact that age is just a number and that it is never too late to start living your best life. Returning home often leaves her restless, as she values time and knows its preciousness. She does not want to be wasting it sitting around doing nothing. Despite losing her spouse and son a few years ago, she continues to exhibit strength and resilience for the sake of her children and her family. She is determined to prevent their unity from crumbling.
Every morning, Laxmiben arrives at Happy Faces with unwavering self-belief, knowing she is making strides toward her dreams. Not only has she learned the art of crafting macrame bags since joining the foundation, but she has also mastered the skill of preparing Gujarati snacks.
She has chosen to continue working, making herself financially independent. She enjoys what she does, and that is what matters. With hard work and determination, anyone can achieve their goals and live on their own terms. I want to inspire women in our society and encourage them to keep striving, stay strong, and believe it is still a good presence globally. I value hard work and the importance of financial stability, and I urge others to put forth the effort and allow the results to shine through. Even at my age, I don’t believe that there is anything I can’t do with the functioning body I am fortunate enough to have. I can achieve anything I set out to do and won’t let my age hold me back. I believe women are capable of achieving anything & everything that they desire in this world. I am determined to pursue my dreams and inspire others to do the same.
