Ranjanben and Ushaben from Happy Faces Foundation had a wonderful opportunity to learn techniques and processes involved in natural dyeing by joining @avani.earthcraft community for a week-long workshop!

They worked with fabric and yarn. They also learned about the processes of washing, fixing colour, dyeing and drying while carefully using water, natural filters and organic materials like reetha powder, alum, among other things.

Working with handmade products and crafting items using processes that are respectful to the environment teaches us the value of naturally available resources around us.

At Happy Faces Foundation, we celebrate these processes of making and are always evolving to understand material and design to make beautiful products and spread the love for handmade.
